with ABA Therapy

Step 1:
Consultation

Family:
"How do we begin?"

Provider:
"It starts with a simple conversation. You’ll meet with our team, either by phone or in person, to share your child’s needs and your goals. This is also your chance to ask questions and learn more about how ABA works.”

Step 2:
Insurance Verification

Family: “Will insurance cover ABA therapy?”

Provider:

“Most insurance plans do cover ABA. Once you give us your information, we’ll contact your insurance provider and explain your benefits to you in plain language. That way, you’ll know exactly what’s covered before we start.”

Step 3:
Assessment

Family:
“What happens during the assessment?”

Provider:
“A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will spend time with your child to understand their strengths, challenges, and learning style. We’ll also talk with you about your goals, like communication, social skills, or independence. Using this information, we create a personalized treatment plan just for your child.”

Step 4:
Treatment plan

Family: “What does the plan look like?”

Provider:

“The plan is a roadmap for your child’s progress. It includes specific goals, strategies for teaching, and ways we’ll track success. We’ll review it with you to make sure it matches your family’s priorities before therapy begins.”

Step 5:
Start Services

Family:
"What happens when therapy starts?"

Provider:
"Your child will begin one-on-one ABA sessions with a trained therapist, guided by a BCBA. Sessions can take place at home, in our center, or in the community. We’ll also provide ongoing updates and parent training, so you feel supported and involved every step of the way.”
